Requirements outside the destinations listed above depend on whether the receiving country is a party to the Hague Apostille Convention. An apostille may be sufficient, while some countries also require legalisation through their embassy or consulate in London. The destination, document type and receiving authority should therefore be confirmed before the process begins.

The exact wording, the witnessing requirements and whether embassy legalisation is also needed depend on the authority in the destination country receiving the document.
