Requirements outside the destinations listed above depend on whether the receiving country is a party to the Hague Apostille Convention. An apostille may be sufficient, while some countries also require legalisation through their embassy or consulate in London. The destination, document type and receiving authority should therefore be confirmed before the process begins.

Declarations for use in Rest of the World

Statutory declarations, affidavits and similar documents must be signed before an authorised legal professional before an apostille can be obtained for use in the destination country. The wording should be checked against the requirements of the authority in the destination country receiving the declaration, as these often specify particular phrasing or supporting identification.
