Packages cover a Simple Will or Simple Mirror Wills. More complex matters may require an individual quotation; complex Will drafting is charged at £220 per hour, no VAT. OPG registration is £92 per LPA (£184 for two or £368 for four), before any applicable reduction or exemption. Exemptions may apply — see the Lasting Power of Attorney page for more information.

Face-to-face appointments are available at my Teddington office, convenient for clients in Richmond upon Thames and across South West London.
Central London appointments are available by arrangement in Charing Cross, providing a convenient meeting location for clients from across London.
Initial consultations and much of the Will and LPA process can be handled conveniently by video appointment. Signing and witnessing must still meet the relevant legal requirements.
If travelling to an office is inconvenient, or you would prefer to discuss your affairs at home, home and mobile appointments can be arranged across London.
A Will determines what should happen to your estate after your death. Lasting Powers of Attorney deal with a different but equally important question: who should make decisions for you during your lifetime if you become unable to make those decisions yourself?
Covers bank accounts, bills, property, investments and financial affairs. Once registered, it can also be used while you have capacity, with your permission.
Covers medical treatment, care, where you live and important health and welfare decisions. It can only be used when you lack capacity to make the relevant decision.
Putting your Will and LPAs in place together allows you to consider your future arrangements as a whole rather than dealing with each document separately.
Your Will and Lasting Powers of Attorney are important legal documents. I will discuss your circumstances and wishes with you personally, explain the available options and prepare the documents to reflect your instructions.
You will deal directly with a solicitor throughout the process.
Whether you prefer an office appointment in Teddington or Central London, a video consultation or an appointment at your home, the aim is to make the process straightforward and accessible.
Bespoke Will drafting is also available, including Single Wills and Mirror Wills, gifts to family or charities, guardianship provisions, property provisions, trusts within Wills, more complex family circumstances and estate planning considerations.

Wills, Estates & Tax planningAn LPA lets you appoint trusted people to make specified decisions on your behalf. You must have the mental capacity to make it, so putting arrangements in place before capacity becomes an issue is important.
I assist clients across London with Property & Financial Affairs LPAs and Health & Welfare LPAs, drafting and completion, attorney selection, execution requirements and preparation for registration with the Office of the Public Guardian.
OPG processing times vary and cannot be guaranteed. An LPA must be registered before it can be used.
